Letters

X-Tra is a serial publication from Project X dedicated to providing a forum for the discussion of the visual and related arts.
X-Tra will encourage writers to write substantively and at length. While we do not view length itself as a guarantee of quality, we do recognize that a sustained discussion requires this commitment to space. Write us, we might publish you. We are looking for letters, essays, artists pages, proposals for exhibition projects, and subscription checks.
X-Tra is published in volumes of five numbers each. For subscriptions and inquiries note the addresses below. Rates are $15 for individuals. We also need support at the following levels: Best Friend, $50, Backer, $100 and Co-conspirator, $250. We all know that L.A. continues to lack the breadth of critical writing that great art cities need. You can make this one happen with a very modest donation. Please consider becoming a Supporter or Backer.
No part of this publication may be reproduced in any manner or form except by permission of the editors and authors. The opinions expressed in X-Tra are not necessarily those of the editors. All rights belong to the individual contributors and as a whole to Stephen L. Berens and Ellen T. Birrell. X marks the spot.
